Probably seems like an irrelevant post but can you explain what was so bad about that game? I never played it fully but I did look at some playthroughs partially; and honestly, it really doesn't seem as bad as people make it out to be. I'm just confused as to why people hate it so much. :/

I think it'd be a good idea. Every time I talk to someone they're either 'working on a mod' or thinking about making one, so a shortage of them seems unlikely in MY opinion. :/

I died way too many times in this game, but the more stupid ones were: when I drowned in the reservoir, when I thought Basil was an enemy that you could kill, and, getting beaten by Toroko when she decides to attack you out of nowhere in the beginning of the game. .-.

Well, in my opinion - multiplayer Cave Story seems likes a really neat idea. And if you have ideas to make it work, then, like, why not? I'm not really tech savvy so I'm not sure if cooperative play is possible, but if it is, then I don't see a problem with it. Go for it.
