If you keep getting hit all the time just try to stand as close to her as you can and when something hits you, just get hit by the black circle. It only deals 1 damage so you shouldn't worry about it too much.

I hope it will be like enemy and boss HP gets doubled similar to Terraria. It would probably make the game more fair. Still, multiplayer would be a great idea but i don't it would work out mainly due to the camera.

If that patch ever got released and you replace the Cave Story+ executable to the one he modified, would you still get the achievement upon beating Ballos?

Odd. For most games people tend to release patches for certain things to fix the games. Apparently there is none for Cave Story+, sadly.

So everyone here might know that this achievement has been broken since the beginning of it's release and Nicalis hasn't bothered to fix it. I have seen some stuff that people have looked into the code and there wasn't any mention of the Curse Broken achievement popping up when you beaten the game.

I heard that something along the lines of the 3DS version having those black edges around the screen. Other then that and the more realistic water physics I hope they will show more in the future. (Man, why didn't they even get past the First Cave?)
