I also have this problem where as soon as I exit First Cave via the door on the top right, I get an error message that is(at least what is to me) gibberish, then CaveStory shuts down. I am currently playing it on my computer, it's Windows 7. I've tried doing different compatibility options...

Hey guys. Sorry about that other thread. I decided to make a new one where I actually asked for help. :p So, my questions now are = 1. How do I edit weapons, such as how to change damage. I tried to look at the sticky for this, but the page just wouldn't load. 2. How to hack profile.dat...

If how to start modding is in the Hacking/Mod forum, how come none of the threads say anything about it? For my question about profile.dat = How else would I put it? I have no information about it. (And YES I DID look through the forums.) For my name = It just means that I am really a Cave...

What must I do to have you guys stop telling me how stupid I am? As for me saying you are useless, I meant that I looked all through the Hacking/Mod forum thread thing (all the pages), and found nothing to help me.

Well, I wasn't really planning on a mod anyhow. Not yet, at least. But seriously guys, please help me. What do I do with all those numbers you always talk about? How do I do whatever with profile.dat? How do I change weapons? I could really use your help with this. Please, give me your aid!

I see all these threads about how to to editing stuff, but there is no thread about how I actually start my fun with editing. Right now, the best I can do is take screenshots and change them around in paint. I would really appreciate it if somebody would help. As for "SW", I can't figure a...

This is pretty good. My main concern is whether or not you will continue working on it, or just abandon it. Second, if you do continue, please fix those darn bugs. (Such as sentences not finishing, the storehouse ceiling trapping you, the background, and whatnot.) Third, I have no third...

I think it's just a quick, easy way to draw a nose that won't be in the way. I mean, think about it. If she had a normal nose, the drawing would be all messed up. And BTW, (I'm not being racist here or anywhere else), why is Sue black, while the rest are all white?

It's confusing, because in the facebox it's blue, but in the game it's green.
