Indeed. I say that they should have gone all out, and remade them so they sounded professional and upgraded. The new "retro" music didn't quite fit. I would've been more impressed with things like what we see in remixes (that are released for free :) ).

Only thing I can suggest is that you redownload it. Sounds like you're getting the "(C)Pixel" issue, to be honest. Redownload it to it's own folder. You can reuse your old save too (by copying the profile.dat from the folder that your current version of jenka's nightmare is in).

You're so addicted to the Cave Story Forums that you don't question carrotlord's association of the forums with dressing. You also don't question possible fetishes related to the forums.

Don't you mean "And everyone on the island died (including Curly)" ? It didn't look like too much survived, plus the impact of a landmass like that falling from the sky would do massive damage not only to the island itself, but whatever it happened to land on.

Generally lightning is white, or some other color, due to the energy it emits (it could emit red, blue, green....). There is no frequency for black (black light is actually UV light, which is invisible unless it hits something else which may turn it back into light within the visible spectrum)...
