I was driving in a car with some family and then a volcano exploded and we all died. We tried to drive away but the lava was super fast. Dreams like that are weird since I always wake up when I die.

My laptop is sort of dead and most of everything relating to the mod is on it. Also I'm planning on porting the mod to C++, since having source files will make everything afterwards easier and it should make it easier to fix bugs (some of which exist in the current executable that I can't fix).

I believe Pixel signed over the rights for Cave Story, and Cave Story ALONE. The beta is still the intellectual property of Pixel.

You don't seem to understand how publishing works. Nicalis has the rights for the game I believe.

If you do that you just end up breaking your save since you need the jelly fish juice, and in order for the jelly fish to spawn you have to talk to chaco after getting the fireball from santa. If you don't get the fireball then you can't get the juice, which is needed in order to make the bomb...

I don't see what's so hard to understand about "don't pick up anything unless the game forces you to progress on".

If you're doing a minimal items run then you cannot pick up anything the game does not force you to pick up. The Alien medal is sort of an exception, since in order to finish the fight with 3hp you have to take no damage, so the game does force you to take it.

Original Cave Story uses a very old rendering method (and is actually more CPU intensive on most new computers because of it) so running the original doesn't mean the new one will run.

Just do a BFS (breadth-first search) using tile cooridinates as nodes. Obviously solid tiles would not be nodes.

Seriousface did send in his mod to them though, this was confirmed (and I heard it from seriousface myself). There was no evidence for the other mods (wind fortress and nemesis challenge and sanctuary attack) so I can't see what you're talking about.

You pirated the whole bundle just to not support Nicalis? You're hurting other developers as well if you're doing that. You can basically buy the bundle for free anyways, so you're not really doing much.
