So by this logic, the original Cave Story on the PC is the best only because it's the first?

I guess it really comes down to what area your playing in, but overall I guess the Nemesis would come down as the best. Considering the player is more careful when using it, the weapon is more deadly. (and the smoke effect is cool!)

Their is no way I can agree with you more. Seriously, there are so little advantages over the Steam version. I actually wouldn't have minded it being the exact same thing as on Steam, even if it still did cost $40 (although that would be an obvious ripoff). There is just so much more to do in...

I honestly don't care how much the Layout changes. However it works out will probably be good, and if it keeps our forums nice and clean, I'm in. It looks as if the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Really?... You make it seem like that if you don't like the game, you are automatically not a Cave Story fan. I myself found it to be the worst version released. No extra content we haven't seen before, and glitches.

I always just though that maybe someone in the group developed one that actually worked. If they can manage to temporarily change themselves back into humans, I'm sure they have the smarts to fix the machine up somehow.
