The "visible/invisible if flag set" flags only affect whether or not the object appears when you first enter the map. Once you're already in the map, changing the flag won't make the object appear/disappear. You can either have blank objects (type 0) in the place you want forcefield to appear...

Well, I dunno about that, as awesome as Oppression is, the Last Battle theme is just a wee bit better imo. If Oppression is the game saying "You are going to die, give up now!", then Final Battle is you saying "Me!? GIVE UP!?!? FUCK NO BITCH!!!!!"

I'm not totally sure, but I think I remember hearing that Pixel decided not to release any earlier versions of Cave Story, because they were too buggy.
