Make sure the file is in bitmap format and has no more than 8-bit color depth (I suspect you may have accidentally saved in 24-bit color depth).

I agree that "Echoes In the Cave" sounds more like a subtitle, although "Cave Story - Echoes In the Cave" feels like you say "Cave" too many times. How about this: "Cave Story - Echoes In the Caverns" And I hope you feel better soon :/
