You might also consider checking out DT's "Quickie guide to the mods section" which contains basically EVERY mod on the forums, although I only listed the ones I thought were exceptionally good, so ya might wanna look at them first.

Magic~ was Metalogz's first mod, although it never got finished and is now abandoned. It's really good though and definitely worth playing. I'm too lazy to post a link so just use the search function.
