You'd probably want to record them from orgview rather than orgmaker. Cave Story and orgmaker have some sound discrepancies, but Cave Story and orgview don't.

You have to be here for a long time to get the 100x100 limit (like 10 days? whatever the old wait for getting an avatar was). Now new users get the ability to have an avatar right when they join, but only 80x80. These new rules are a bit odd, but they're not that important.

This has always been an issue for the original (old) Cave Story. People used to get confused when their custom orgs crashed the game because they used the last drum slot. I'm not sure if it's the last 2 or just the very last slot that will break the game...

I don't know where you got that number from, but it's wrong. The max number that can be in a map is 512 (the length of the array of entities). You wouldn't ever want that many on a map though, since things like smoke and exp would stop spawning if you reach the cap.
