Even if you got WASD keys to work somehow, the actual problem is creating a second player. CS only has 1 player object, and creating another via hacking would be no easy task.

My theory is that since we have rabbit people it is not unlikely that there are also lizard people, ape people, and cat people as well. Maybe they have their own floating islands, and this is pixel hinting at cave stories 2, 3, and 4?

It's not like you can stop this sort of thing from happening though. Like there's already a lot of Rule 34 of Cave Story floating around on the internet. If you don't like this idea/mod my suggestion for you would be to ignore this thread entirely.

I wouldn't say that this glitch does not affect normal gameplay, since exiting the game in your inventory should be something you can do without causing bugs, and something that could easily mess up a save if done accidentally.

I don't think it should be something that is frowned upon just because one 12 year old invited all his friends one time. That just seems like an extreme measure to stop something that you can't stop (that being more 12 year olds).

No it is supposed to be shaking. Any time you were in hell and there was no shaking was probably a bug.
