If you do 180+ damage to it immediately, it will go into its final form right away. But there's a short grace period after it shoots the 3 electric bolts where it won't transform, so you can finish it off after it shoots those. I did it. I beat the time.

No it reads スーパーサーバー　(suupaa saabaa, super server). You can't just ignore the elongated vowels, as it changes the word. For example, スパ (supa) would be "spa", and サバ (saba) would be "mackerel".

See this sounds like this IS your first rodeo. Teleport animations are most likely hard coded into each entity that uses them, and are not activated by calling any function or setting any variable. So if you want to give an entity a teleport animation, you're going to need to code it yourself...

I don't see why you were so disappointed, I mean it wasn't like any of his previous games (cave story included) had really deep plots or anything. Also, you do realize it was designed as a mobile game, right?

PC version is out. Speaking of which I just finished playing it. It was pretty fun, but I might recommend ripping the soundtrack yourself, since the one you pay for isn't very high quality/high bit-rate.

What font are you using? You'll only get Japanese characters if the font supports it, so stick to a system font or a font that has Japanese characters.
