The latest version of King: Strife and Sacrifice is its own engine entirely, which bypasses all the issues that the hack might have caused.

It's never gonna happen. Besides, the 2x res hack does some REALLY NASTY things to the executable. You don't really want that hack anyways.

It's a forum bug I think. Happens sometimes if you use the new editor. Matt should have double checked his post though, there's no excuse for that.

Thanks! And Spike (the company that made this game) have been asked that question a few times before and I think every time their answer was "no". But if it gets popular enough it COULD happen (there's going to be an anime based on the game airing this summer). Next part will be posted later...

So shortly into chapter 1, the game gives you access to your menu (your student ID card). One of the things you can view in the student ID card is a list of “Report Cards” for the other students, which are basically just little profiles about them. Not too much is written in these report...

I tried switching to the other editor to see if that would fix it, but the problem occurs both in the old editor and AndWhy's new BBCcode editor.

Ok well the best strategy I've found is definitely to reset your unlocks after every run. This would be more fun if it was a bit less of a gauntlet/time consuming per run though...

1) Make sure the file you edited has the proper extension (pbm) 2) There should be an errorlog.txt or something like that in your folder, open it up and paste the contents here if you're still having trouble.

I think he means hidden paths that allow you to bypass parts of the game. I'd imagine the challenge would be finding said paths (and possibly navigating them).
