I think SP actually did the same thing before GIR even. The MyChars for The Crowned Witch, MetalGear Story, and The Mimiga Army are all almost identical or maybe even identical.

I believe the creator of Julian's King (softmints) has officially said that she has stopped working on it, but it is not finished. There is a place where you can't make it any further (either that or I just suck and am doing it wrong).

There are more than 5 that are "trivial" mods, (Boss rush, various small asm hacks, hell edits, self-insertion mods for example). But yeah there are very few "full-blown" mods that are completed.

I would agree with Fire that it got about twice as good, but I would say that it went from 3/10 to 6/10. It depends quite a bit on how well it fits in the context of the game though.
