hm.. is there a file called error.log in the folder where Booster's Lab is? that may have some information to help me diagnose the problem.

did you unzip BL to its own folder before trying to run it? either way, it shouldn't hurt much if it can't find those.

in the CS+ there is a folder called "data" within that folder there should be a file called stage.tbl when you open the project with BL, that is the file to load.

uh, ClearType affects how text is rendered on your screen, not how it's written to a document/image. I'm pretty sure you can't 'turn it off' to get non-aliased text. That depends on the rasterizer in the software you're using. Use a bitmapped font or disable text AA in your drawing program...
