The "illegal" Flash port of Cave Story has been discussed here before. I have been working on reverse engineering it, and have got it to run without the Mochi preloader. I don't think I could post it here, as it's still in violation of the GPL (as it incorporates NXEngine). So my question is...

Main issue: Cave Story+ is commercial. So legally, I don't think you can port the other game modes from it. Also.. if the version crashes from Steam, you should probably try reporting that, so they can fix it.

Thanks for the reply. I only had the old version of KadoAI, and didn't realize the small version was now bundled. I appreciate it that you take the time to respond to posts of new users of this site ^^

Did anyone else notice that the version in the screenshot is "1.0.0.7"? The linked version is the original zip of 1.0.0.6 however.
