Rating systems are weird, personally I can see how that review would lead to a 7/10 but most people start a game off at 10/10, then subtract points for every few flaws. Bombchu just didn't list any flaws.

The falling blocks room was the worst room in all of Cave Story. The room does nothing but drain a random amount of hp. Decreasing the frequency a considerable amount would make it into an ACTUAL challenge and not just a clusterfuck. Cave Story is NOT literally perfect after all.

Darkness. That sprite is so dark. Usually character sprites are made from brighter colors in general, I can't imagine trying to see that against a dark background like most of the ones in the game are. Breaking away from the quote sprite is tough at 16x16 but I'd like to see someone try it.

I said it was probably my fault. It not making more than two bullets was the symptom of whatever happened.

The Doukutsu trainer doesn't have an auto fire. I'll assume it was probably my fault but the machine gun was only allowing 2 bullets to exist at once before firing again.
