I used to listen to moonsong a fair bit, but I've listened to cave story's ost less and less over the years. I think songs like cemetery would be pretty nice to sleep to as well, but then again I could listen to Alright by Verzache so it's basically a no-brainer lol.

I'd say Outer Wall. It's kinda basic, but I really like the background combined with the tileset colors. It's all very relaxing.

I never noticed, probably because thats usually not possible. But thats really neat, Id never thought of using it to speed its charge up at all.

I find it easier to kill bosses with only charging it to (not max) level 3 or level 2. And no, turbocharge doesnt effect it unfortunately.

using "its only a demo" as an excuse is poor, many demos show you where to go and even start the story off very well.

where was this ever explained? if theres a right way to play you should at least try to show us where we're supposed to go the first path it takes you to is Mimiga Village, and there doesnt seem to be anywhere else you can even go

A boost meter? That's super neat! (Not sure how much I'll use it, but cool none the less.) Being able to make any background tiles darker is super helpful as well, I will be using that a lot. I don't get why no 0%, but 25% is close enough I suppose. Thanks for the improved Cave Story experience...

I would also say something like "The Platform" is a good watch if you don't mind the english dub messing up the mouth syncing since it was originally spoken in spanish. A Silent Voice is one of my favorite films of all time, so I'd also recommend that as well.
