• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

    I downloaded both the .zip files, one containing the japanese cave story game and the other containing the cavestory translation installer + the orgview translation installer. After unpacking them, i tried out the unpatched version and it worked, then i opened the cavestory translation installer...

    hiho! when i first tried out cave story, i played the untranslated version and it worked fine. i read about the translation patch, but when tried to start the game after i had run the patch, nothing happened, the computer just ignored my orders. i downloaded the japanese version again and it did...
