My understanding of culture, even internet culture, is about as vague as my understanding of artistic elements. Still, when I look at this, especially the figure's face, curls and eyebrows, I get a distinctly..."Tumblr-esque" vibe. Obviously the picture is posted at and probably originated from Tumblr, that's no surprise. What I don't understand is how a few small design choices can strike me as reminiscent of an entire site and some of its culture, a rather strange thought. Whatever the answer, it's a really lovely picture, and that's not hard to make out. c:
