LDtk is a pretty good level editor if you haven't tried it! It's also got pretty good documentation for writing a custom importer.

I've heard of LDtk! Sadly, the engine I'm using only supports Tiled currently, I've contacted the engine's lead maintainer and they seem interested in it though!

 

Spent the last few days re-writing the physics system and triggers.

 

I've been building my own engine in C using SDL for the project! (Using Ogmo Editor 3 for the tilemap)

Hatch is a great, Tiled isn't.

I did try to implement an LDTK importer for the engine but atp I decided to just make my own engine.
