Hi! I've just released a basic mod for the new Cave Story+ 2026 update that replaces the Nicalis translation with the contents of the fan-favorite Aeon Genesis Translation Patch. Nothing more, nothing less.
The mod is just about fully compatible with any other CS+ mod I can think of. It only replaces TSC files, a couple of stage table metadata files, and two images from the classic graphics set. It works with base CS+, classic graphics mode, all the seasons, and all the soundtracks.
It's available on GitHub, so if you find any issues that I somehow missed in my testing, feel free to submit your own patches.
