• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

CSZ Tools+ [RELEASE]
A Tool to Facilitate the Modification of Cave Story PSP

This is a faithful fork/port that converts CSZ Tools from andwhyisit to Python, this fork offers the ability to quickly restore the original data.csz file and also allows the extraction of modified CSZ files.
It features an easy-to-understand interface, very detailed logs, and a multilingual UI (Note: I translated the UI into English, Japanese, and Spanish because I was too lazy XD it may not be translated into more languages) it will also be compatible with more systems that can run Python.

IMPORTANT: Assembly Mods will not work in this fork.


Downloads note: You can run the windows executable without installing Python. If it doesn't run, install Python 3.6+.

Interesting. So to use this tool in my mod, the mod must have to be 94 maps exaclty, No? It looks nice, and I think that we need have more tools like this (Written in another langs that not be JAVA).

Yes, 94 maps. If your mod has more than 94 maps, you need to get the maps.dat file from the game's executable and place it in the extracted data.csz folder.

If in your mod the character starts outside the starting point, the mod may be unplayable.

If you're going to port a mod, make sure the mod has the minimum The number of hacks in the assembly is limited. If you only used Cave Editor and Booster Lab and didn't modify the executable much, your mod may still work.

Man, i just say: This is the best day of my life! I can run this! Now my PC is less wrong than before
I love hearing that! If you find any bugs, copy the log and report them in this thread. Have fun porting your vanilla mods to Cave Story PSP! :D
