Cave Story+ (2026 Version) - Spanish Translation Patch

Hi and welcome!

I just wanted to share a mod that basically translates all the dialogue into Latam Spanish.

It's for Cave Story+ 2026 update, of course. I did this at a friend’s request and because I’ve always wanted that Latam Spanish version to exist.

And not only that, but it also now includes special characters in dialogs as never before, such as accents (á, é, í, ó, ú), the ñ, diaeresis (ü) and opening punctuation marks (¿¡), all thanks to the custom bitmap font!

Of course, I couldn't have done it without the help of EdwarlyGamer999+'s base translation (Switch Version) and other 3rd party projects that served as inspiration.

To be honest, I didn't have any trouble experimenting with that modding system.

For me, it was a great addition—I really appreciate it!

For now, I'm going to see what else I can do with it. I might have a question or two later on.
