i like to think they're not literally siblings, but that's perhaps what they decided their relationship's label was closest to postgame - it's something i've always wanted to explore my take on or interpretation/headcanon, specifically; that quote's the one to suggest it because sue and kazuma (and toroko/king/arthur)'s sibling relationships means a lot to him as a representation of closeness and curly's just like 'yea sure man idc i'm just happy to chill with you :}'. i don't know if they'd consider each other brother/sister the same way humans would, but it's some vague flavour of platonic/familial... well, it would be an interesting fic or comic if i could ever commit to actually finishing it :V

anyway, if i were to talk about what i think the '''intended canon implication''' is or whatever... well, the obvious answer if you asked pixel would probably be 'lol idk it's up to player interpretation', and there is the obvious jokes about curly's interesting ideas about where laundry should be kept, or the ma pignon administration, but i still strongly believe the closest thing to an intended interpretation is that it's still not necessarily romantic and something more like a warrior's bond - they've fought together, they've risked their lives for each other, and they trust their backs to each other. 'but what if they also had feeeeelings for each other and wanted to hold hands and smooch' is such a boring-ass take when there's infinitely more interesting ways to explore a deep bond between two pe-[i am forcibly dragged offstage by a hook]
