In other news yeah turns out I've been around for a while

This time instead of my join date I decided to mark this on the anniversary of my first actual post; to honour the occasion I put together this depiction of just how far I feel I've come.

Yeah I feel like reminiscing!!! I didn't make a post here earlier because I wanted to wait for my join date anniversary, and then I forgot about it on the day itself, so now I'm posting this 3 days late. Ugh. School can mess with you bad.
But anyways. 13 years! It really does feel like I've "been here way too long" Too bad I got off to a rough start, and activity died down somewhat soon after - I was never quite able to become a proper well-spoken contributing member of society here, so to speak, despite the game and the forums being very close to my heart. Ah, I was born in the wrong generation~
But what's done is done... I just hope and pray that Cave Story will never be forgotten! And I'm grateful to all of you for discussing theories, making art and music, producing mods, engaging with the game in all sorts of ways - it makes a fun and creative community, one that I'm honoured to have been a part of in any small way.

Also, DoubleThink; seconded: Jenka's Nightmare may well be the pinnacle of CS modding, enduring and endearing. I also like how you subtly depict yourself aging over the years
