• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

Oh wait, I guess it's my attempt to make a game loosely based on the mod/it's level design (and not Cave Story) as a little side project/practice for making games.

I kinda snuck an announcement of this in the mod's update but I wanted to do a more proper/accessible one so people can actually see it.
Still need to figure out a ton lol, from sound/music to what I wanna do with the overall look and also where and how I'll wanna do periodical updates on progress (I don't wanna just spam this forum) but I guess I'll see.

just finished a cute little animation for evergreen's credits :]
it's given me the confidence to do more animated stuff, but it's low priority... i need to finish implementing the feedback i got for the first ending's final boss, as well as tidying up the credits etc etc - i also have to do my usual full replay to tidy up bits and pieces and check everything's still functional, but i think it is at a spot where i could release it right now and it would be playable start to finish, so i can only make things better for modgala!

btw i have no idea what i'm doing (i hate watching video tutorials so i've been getting by with watching sections of random vids til i get bored and reading outdated text guides), blender's already crashed my laptop once and freezes it on the regular every time i try and do anything with materials, and there's a joke image about catholic mimiga stuck in my UV unwrap window that i can't figure out how to get rid of... i geniunely haven't had this much fun learning a new program for a long time
